This is a model of what ALL talent agencies need to become. True incubators investing in their clients. Everything else is the old way.

Great post - and so true about alignment, sharing all the upside and partnership. One point on Night Studios - I’d understood they’d shut it down last summer (both Alex Piper and Reed wrote interesting LinkedIn updates on the thinking behind the decision https://www.linkedin.com/posts/piperalex_not-everything-works-when-youre-pushing-activity-7214380937906716672-wWpV?utm_source=share&utm_medium=member_ios&rcm=ACoAAAA-sK0BPrt2VtziyvPe_zoBJnFJ7FxRyo8).

Thx Jen- as deep as I dove I actually

didn’t see this post. I only found that he had work on beast games as a first building block. This is key and will add to article. It feels like so many of the new media companies just have to leave the creative entirely to their creators. I’m in Mexico now looking at another creator first company and they really just support with data tools, insights, commercialization and distribution. They have had zero success using the IP from creators to bring to legacy media or crossing over their creators) Different model

From Night media (they start as podcaster and now are a creator studio) but interesting. I’m going to make an adjustment to the article

Thank you!
